By utilizing Turenne PharMedCo's educational offerings, your staff can obtain contact hours,
stay ahead of the curve on resident care, and grow their professional career and satisfaction.
Procedures
- Call our Education Department at 1-800-278-1777, ext. 4406, and request the course by its [Course Number].
- The
course materials will be sent to your facility by your regular
PharMedCo Pharmacy Delivery Driver (in the drug tote) as soon as they
are available.
- Your
facility may keep the CD/DVD/VHS for three (3) business days after
receipt. The CD/DVD/VHS and all accompanying required information should
then be returned with the PharMedCo Pharmacy Delivery Driver.

PowerPoint Programs:
- CD/DVD
- Self-administration instructions
- Flyer for facility to fill-in and post, if desired
- Outline of objectives and agenda
- Handout materials (duplicate as needed)
- Test / test key / skills competency form
- Course evaluation
- Sign-in sheet (duplicate as needed)
VHS / DVD / CD-ROM:
- Video, DVD, or CD
- Outline of objectives and agenda
- Flyer for facility to fill in and post, if desired
- Test / test key
- Course evaluation
- Sign-in sheet (duplicate as needed)

- The following MUST be returned along with the CD/DVD/VHS in order for contact hours and certificates to be issued:
- Video, DVD or CD
- Sign-in
sheets. Remember to include the correct license number and legible name
of each participant. We MUST have this information in order to submit
your information for contact hour credit.
- Completed course evaluations
- Tests
- Biographical information of course presenter
- Upon
receipt of the above items, certificates of completion will be returned
via the drug delivery tote to the facility contact person for
distribution to those attendees passing the post test with a grade of 80% or higher. Turenne PharMedCo will then submit class information to the Alabama Board of Nursing.
