Diabetic Shoes

Medicare-reimbursable therapeutic shoes and inserts
are now available for your residents with Type I or Type II diabetes.

Full Service Orthotic Care

Your Turenne PharMedCo orthotics professional will be happy to visit your facility and meet your residents with Type I or Type II diabetes, measure them for custom orthotics, and place the order.  When the shoes come in, he or she will be back on site, making sure they fit correctly to provide the greatest protection against foot ulcers and the related health concerns.

We also file all claims with Medicare to cover the cost of the shoes, inserts, and fitting.  End result:  your diabetic residents have the very highest level of care at no cost to the facility!

Quality Orthotics

• Flexible material contours to the shape of the foot to help reduce the risk of rubbing and irritation -- especially beneficial when edema (swelling) is present.

• Seamless interior also helps to reduce the risk of rubbing and irritation and resulting foot ulcers.

• A series of air holes in the uppers allow the feet to breathe, reducing the risk of fungus and other infections.

• Firm heel with deep padding protects the heel of the foot during wheelchair transfers.

• The thick sole is designed to prevent injury from stepping on many sharp objects.

• Custom orthotic inserts provide maximum protection for the diabetic foot.

• These aren't the orthotics our grandmothers used to wear!  They're comfortable, light-weight, easy to put on, and washable!

• Available in a wide variety of styles and colors.

• Both shoes and inserts conform to Medicare Part B coverage qualifications.
